The FASI CDH series of hot air dryers is the most effective way of drying plastic granules. Drying directly at the machine throat eliminates the possibility of contamination or re-absorption of moisture when transporting from a drying location to the machine hopper. The CDH series of hot air dryers is ideally suited to the continuous drying of plastic granules.
Unlike conventional drying hoppers that blow hot air from the bottom causing inconsistent drying, the CDH series dries under the principle of "Hot Air Down-blowing" and "Cyclonic Air Exhausting" ensuring consistent results.
All models offer rapid heating and accurate P.I.D. temperature control by incorporating as standard equipment an electronic temperature controller with thermocouple. An adjustable safety overheat thermostat to prevent overheating of the material is also fitted as standard.
